INV Category Upload – Oracle EBS SQL Report

Oracle E-Business Suite SQL report from the Enginatics Library powered by Blitz Report™.

Overview

Creates and updates item category codes as the Categories window (Setup > Items > Categories > Category Codes): description, inactive date, iProcurement flags and the descriptive flexfield.

Enter the category as its concatenated segments, separated by the structure’s segment delimiter (for example COMPUTER.MONITOR). Each segment is validated against its value set.

Categories cannot be deleted, and the segments of an existing category cannot be changed, as in the form. A category can only be made not viewable by suppliers in the purchasing category structure, and the default category of a category set cannot be made inactive.

Running This SQL Without Blitz Report

The SQL source can be run in any SQL client. Some Oracle EBS SQL reports in this library use functions from the utility package xxen_util – install it first. Blitz Report™ adds parameters, Excel output with pivots, scheduling and security on top.
