PER Absence Upload – Oracle EBS SQL Report

Oracle E-Business Suite SQL report from the Enginatics Library powered by Blitz Report™.

Overview

Upload to create, update and delete person absences as in the Absence Detail window: absence type and reason, notification, projected and actual dates and times, duration, late notification, authorizer and replacement, and the Additional Absence Details flexfield.

A row is matched to an existing absence by the hidden absence id of a downloaded row, otherwise by employee, absence type and start date (actual, or projected when there is no actual start). Absences are created and updated with hr_person_absence_api, which also maintains the element entry of absence types linked to an element. Durations left blank are calculated by the api.

Set Delete Absence to Yes to delete a downloaded absence.

Running This SQL Without Blitz Report

The SQL source can be run in any SQL client. Some Oracle EBS SQL reports in this library use functions from the utility package xxen_util – install it first. Blitz Report™ adds parameters, Excel output with pivots, scheduling and security on top.
