BOM Resource Upload – Oracle EBS SQL Report

Oracle E-Business Suite SQL report from the Enginatics Library powered by Blitz Report™.

Overview

Creates and updates resources - the Resources form (Bills of Material > Routings > Resources).

Resources cannot be deleted; enter an Inactive On date instead. Their rates and overhead associations per cost type are maintained with the CST Resource Rate Upload and the CST Resource Overhead Association Upload.

As in the form, Outside Processing defaults from a PO charge type and Costed from Outside Processing, and an outside processing resource takes the receiving inspection account of the organization as Absorption Account and its purchase price variance account as Variance Account. Outside Processing and Costed cannot be changed once the resource is used in routings, overheads, WIP or (Costed) has rates, and the UOM only with profile BOM: Update Resource UOM for resources not scheduled in routings or used in standard operations.

Supply Subinventory and Supply Locator apply to machines, Competence, Skill Level and Qualification to persons, Billable Item to types other than Amount. A currency resource takes the functional currency as UOM and is always costed. A batchable resource has basis Lot.

Running This SQL Without Blitz Report

The SQL source can be run in any SQL client. Some Oracle EBS SQL reports in this library use functions from the utility package xxen_util – install it first. Blitz Report™ adds parameters, Excel output with pivots, scheduling and security on top.
